Edmond First Nazarene is a group of individuals who consider each other one big family. If you are looking for a church home, we would like you to know there is a place here for you to grow.
"A place to grow" is more than just a catchy phrase at EFN. It is our deepest desire to make our family of faith a place to grow in friendship for all people. We believe Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and following in His footsteps we strive to do the same. EFN is a collective of young and old, progressive and traditional; who maintain our unity through the common belief that all people need the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.
We believe the kingdom of God is as deep as it is wide and strive to make space for everyone to come and grow in their faith with us. We do our best to balance our respect for traditional elements while capturing the energy of more contemporary ones. We're a multi-experience site that provides diverse worship opportunities and discipleship formats. If you’re looking for tradition, we’ve got it. If you’re looking for something new, we’ve got that too.
It is our deepest desire for people to become closer to God in faith and knowledge, seeking to be more like Christ. We encourage people to find ways to minister within their own circles while creating space for neighbors and enemies alike. This is how we expand the Kingdom of God. At EFN, we make it a priority to grow lasting relationships. We're also a place to grow in learning. The Bible is our guide for spiritual growth. We believe the Bible is God's Word to us, a book that is alive and relevant. For every person at every age, we offer growth opportunities to enrich your faith journey through the Scriptures. Edmond First is also a place for service. Just as Jesus came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister" we accept our responsibility to serve one another.
We would love for you to be a part of what God is doing in the life of our church. As a body of believers we are committed to these three essential things: Gather. Grow. Go.
